[Blindtlk] What weird things does iOS 8 do to you?

There's a switch on the left side of the phone, beside the volume button. Use this switch to mute and unmute. Regardless of whether the phone is muted, VoiceOver will often freeze for me as well. My solution was to activate Siri by holding down the home button, telling it to turn off VoiceOver, then to turn it back on again. This does not negate the problem or its inconvenience. I've reported this to Apple's accessibility department, who says they were not previously aware of this bug but would work on its resolution.
