[Blindtlk] groups working together

Mike, on the face of it and before really considering I can see your disagreement with this. Why though? First off, unless I misunderstood, we are trying to build NFB Chapters in 75 Days of Action. We were told that it doesn’t matter if people are in the ACB in the town. They should be invited. So, technically, we could talk with them about the possibility of joining with us, at the very least for the execution of the event. Second, if they were with us at some event we were staging, they might see that we are doing something they would like to be a part of.
Third, while we are an affiliate of the National Federation of the Blind, we aren’t the only blind people around. Meet the Blind Month is, of course, our particular thing, but I suspect that others could benefit from participating in it. White Cane Day is something that has been across the whole of blind people for a while, isn’t it? If you could get people to do the event with you, then it is more people to get noticed. I think I would say that the NFB Chapter is doing the event with the help of other groups. If they didn’t like that approach, they would be welcome to not help.
