Thanks for sharing your thoughts Chris. I understand what you're saying, and I whole heartedly agree that respect for others is important. This is why I posed my question.

(cane...) Where I'm saying I have a real major problem is when people do it purposefully, loud area or not, just because they think everyone revolves around, them, and that just because they, are them, they always get the right of way, come hell or high water. Now that! is where I! have a real problem, and believe you me, you do that purposely while I am walking with you, just to be rude to others? I don't care if you know the venue well or not! Bye? bye! You can figure out your way on your own, as I'd leave you behind, or shall I... no pun intended say, lead the way, me staying back.

Perhaps, then, you might let that anxiety go, for actually, it has no purpose, other than to cause your feeling abominable within your very skin, like blind people themselves might be the lowliest critters ever for actualizing ohmagod, blindness BEHAVIORS?

For me, this remains absolutely the case, and is a large part of perceptual understanding of particularly loud environments. :18 AM 4/3/2015, robin.eautifullyblind--- via blindtlk wrote:

I trailed the wall from the cash register to the place where I needed to pick up my coffee. There was a little girl in my path, and I didn't realize it. Her mother got mad, and told her daughter to move. I want to avoid this from happening again. So, I am in need of some tips. Thank you in advance!
