[Blindtlk] Microsoft Word, or JAWS question...

Howdy... Just out of curiosity, is there such a easy setting in Word that
will change the Ribbon set up to the old XP style? Maybe I am the only one,
but I got so use to Windows's regular menus, and now have just never
completely made friends with the Ribbon style. Maybe I'm just an old guy
that doesn't like change, but I hate Ribbons! LOLL

Go to alt f, then hit the letter t for options, then arrow down to display.
Uncheck anything that is related to reading paragraph markers, or space
markers.

I also use Windows 7 with Word 2010 at work, same thing happened quite a
while ago, but have not had the time to trouble-shoot. I think it may be in
the Views Tab, maybe Show Markup, but not sure about those. I also would
appreciate advice.

Hello everyone. I hope that you will be able to help me correct an issue
that is driving me crazy!

I am using Windows 7, Word 2010, and JAWS Professional. Everything has
been working wonderfully, and I have been going smoothly. Last night I shut
down my computer, and then of course this morning booted back up once I was
back at work. But I do not know if I accidently checked something,
unchecked something, or did some other little thing that I was not aware of.
No one else has access to my computer, unless evil little elves broke into
my office last night, and messed with my computer and then ran away
laughing! LOLL

The problem doesn’t seem to be in any other program other than MS Word.
But everything reads fine when I do a read all command. But when I either
navigate word by word or letter by letter, JAWS is now suddenly saying
“space marker” at every space, and “paragraph marker” at every paragraph.
It use to simply say “blank”, if it was on a empty line, and space if I was
going letter by letter, or word by word. But now it seems to be speaking
all of the “"format markings, which is confusing, and far more information
than I need.

Does anyone know how I can get JAWS to not give all of the additional
information?

James
