I think I'd listen to your customers/viewers/ subscribers, not random people
who are not really involved. If I heard from a bunch of people who are
actually watching the videos and are engaged in what I'm offering, then I'd
be much more likely to listen.
And sunglasses can be just as distracting for sighted people when it's not a
situation where sunglasses are not typically worn.

Subject: [Blindtlk] Doing Videos as a Blind Person
Hi everyone,
I’d like to ask a sort of odd question. I like to do videos on Youtube for
my website. Everyone seems to enjoy them, as far as I can tell. But
yesterday, a friend I recently met suggested to wear sunglasses. He said it
might be odd for people to see my eyes, since they aren’t focused. I have no
vision at all, and I can’t control my eyes.
I don’t know what I think of this. No one else has said they were bothered
by it. And I don’t want to appear as though I am ashamed of my blindness. I’d
like to see what others would say.
And this friend means well, even if it seems a bit rude. I just want to see
how others handle doing videos, who are in a similar situation.
Thanks,
Brandon
