HI,
  BARD has been having some problems lately, mostly, it seems, with the 
modal app, but I do not think that is all of it. Their website has been 
reporting being down several times over the past around 2-ish weeks. I 
mainly use the website as I find I really do  not like listening to books on 
my iPod since I tend to switch between books way too frequently for the 
extra steps it takes to be worth my time:)! Just a personal preference:)!
