[Blindtlk] Question about STS Able Ride in Miami, FL

I used to use STS in Miami, but haven't since I moved away 9 years ago. I, too, think you are cutting it very close timewise. With the STS, if you were a regular rider with a regular driver, you might have a chance, but if the drivers don't know you or if the driver is new, then you would have a problem. MIA is a big airport with a lot of travelers and traffic. If you miss your ride, it used to be an hour before they would reschedule another driver. You should give yourself at least 2 more hours. It would probably be better to wait at the cruiseline area than miss your boarding. And, if your plane is late arriving, that's another factor in the mix. I have heard people say that one should arrive the day before and stay the night when coming from out of town for a cruise. I don't know who is from Miami who is on this list, but I know people in Miami who use the service. I can forward the email to them to see if they will respond. Hope this
helps.

Hello,
I cannot answer your specific
question, but did you ask STS Able Ride? They
should be able to answer your question. I do
not travel, but if your plane
lands at 9 am
and you have to get your luggage, and get outside to get
your
ride, would it be about 9:300 by then?
WillSTS be on time? Is the ship
leaving at
11? It sounds like it is cutting too close for my
comfort.
