[Blindtlk] tornado touch down

Hi, all,
In Colorado Wednesday evening, we experienced an EF1 tornado which touched down on the Lowery Campus.
It knocked down a bunch of trees and damaged some houses.
It was a small tornado with winds around 90 miles per hour.
Our tornado sirens went off for over forty-five minutes, almost an hour from what I can remember.
I'll admit that the lightning was also getting best of me since I have a seizure disorder.
Each time there's a strike, it finds my seizure center, the left frontal lobe and I end up having one.
All I could do during that time was to quickly roll down to the floor in between my bedroom closet and the bed, halfway lying on Odie's doublebed.
Odie actually did growl a little bit, not at me, but more in fear from the noise of the irrade siren, some hail and lightning with the winds.
As far as I know, no Coloradans were hurt or any casualties happened.
As I lie on the floor, Odie actually made room for me to lie on his pillow by lining himself up along the wall.
His head faced the closet and rear end was amongst the bed box springs.
Odie and I have been through so many tornado warnings since he was matched with me during his guide dog career.
Since he's been a medical alert response service dog, he've helped each other many times.
During the tornado warning, both of us were there for one another.
I say the two of us were troopers and neither of us gives up that easily.
I also definitely thank the father in the skies for believing that Odie and I would be a great team and even during scary times, we'd get through it all together.
