You know, you remind me of when I was in college not that long ago. I graduated in 2012, but I remember that the more I was away, the more independent I became. I got to know that campus so well by the end. Heck, I got married in 2011 so a year before I graduated. You will be surprised how far you will come.

You think now you are taking steps, and you are. but just think two-three years down the road and you won’t even know yourself. Keep up the good work.

This week I walked from the library at my college campus, down the spirel staircase to the Center For Distributed Learning where I volunteer every week. Yesterday when I got down the stairs I walked all the way to the Tech Raner room without any assistance. The Tech Raners are full-time and part-time students that provide evaluations for the online courses that are being developed. These are small steps toward improving my independence.
