[Blindtlk] Can blind people adopt?

I grew up around another blind kid who had been adopted by blind parents, 
and I have an early memory of going to a birthday party at his house with 
games and good food.

Hi all,
I know a few blind folks who have adopted children who are already here in
America but they usually had to fight for it.
One of the first blind couples to adopt did it way back in the 1950's or
1960's. I believe the husband was the first blind Harvard MBA.
IT can be done but it's still much harder than it ought to be.

Blind people have adopted just to be clear. The people that I do know had to
go outside the country to do it.

But I would contact the Blind Parents of Children Division, there are 2
different divisions, Blind Parents & Parents of Blind Children.
