I did what you said. Maybe the light was on? I will see. It is fully charged
now, and it has been at 100% for four or five minutes. It isn't terribly
warm either.

I have not read this whole thread so am sorry if I am repeating what someone
else has suggested. You might turn your phone completely off and back on to
see if that helps. Also going into the app switcher and closing all apps
but the home screen might do a good idea. If you have used KNFB Reader, I
wonder if somehow the light got turned on? It seems to me that happened to
me once. Powering down and then up should help that, too.

I found the answer to the second question. It is the battery though. The
phone is running warm and has lost 22% in the past hour. I've only messaged
three times with it.
