[Blindtlk] Reading Info on Cards

>From I've heard about that App is that you basically take a picture or maybe
you use a video or something like that and then a real person on the other
end gives you the information. Frankly, with something like a card number,
you could snap a picture of your card and then share it via text message
with a friend. Another thing that just came to my head and I have no idea if
it would work, would be to take a picture and then open KNFB reader and
choose the option that lets you "add picture from library." Really,
logically, it doesn't seem like it would work but who knows. Think I'll try
it!
There have definitely been occasions when I have wanted to read a new card.
Forgot to send this so adding: I just tried taking a picture of the card and
then importing the pick into KNFB Reader. The second time I did it, it did
read the name of my bank but not the number. If this is a card that you
received in the mail and you took it off the heavy paper it was stuck to, it
seems to me that that paper may, not sure, but could have the card number
written on it. It seems that many years ago, I put that paper in my scanner
and got the number using Kurzweil.
Think I've pretty much exhausted my ideas. Hope you've figured it out by
now.

I've never used it but the APP bemyeyes.org might give you the feedback you
are looking for.

Hi,
The one thing I can think of is that you could do face time or Skype with
someone if you have a phone, which you must since you tried KNFB reader,
and then they could look at the card.
