The message you are responding to was from February. Since then she wrote
and said she had found a solution to the sleep problem and would tell us one
day soon.

Subject: Re: [Blindtlk] Having a Problem...
Many many people, blind and sighted have serious sleeping problems!!!
I agree with what others said that exercising would be good. Take a walk,
late afternoon sun is helpful for the brain's cycles... Even if you cannot
see light I think it may still help. Don't exercise in the evening. What
are you eating and drinking? Those choices can affect sleep. Staying home
all day often makes me tired. Be out of your house as much as you can
during the day. That should help a lot, I would think. Melatonin an hour
before bed is good. Also teas or essential oils could help. Routine helps.
Lastly, I will say that doctors can't do anything if you protest to it.
Doctors don't know it all, And you are the patient so you have to dictate
your healthcare. I have no idea if you have non-24. But I would try some
of these suggestions if I were you, before making that assumption.
Good luck!

pre-teen before learning about what they are calling 24-hour and how maybe
to control it some. When I say control all I'm talking about is moderate
exercise, Melitonin or marijuana before bed so my brain knows to sleep.
Those things work for me as I am unwilling to give up coffee! 08:51 PM
