Have you tried pairing a bluetooth speaker with your iPhone or a
bluetooth headset before plugging in that credit card reader? I think
one or both may solve this problem for you.

So you run the ap on your phone or iPad with the credit card reader plugged into your device. Very awesome for things like craft shows, garage sales or other similar temporary location type of sales.

However it plugs into the audio jack of my iPad. So when I plug it in, Voice Over no longer uses the speaker. Voice Over is still running and working, I just can?t hear it because it?s sending the audio to the headphone jack, which of course is being used by the card reader.
