Have you tried getting funding from your rehab agency? Your state may also have a technology assistance program through your department of disabilities or your library for the blind. Finally, you might try getting a grant from a local Lions Club or another local service organization. Sorry I can't help with the cane question; the only source for folding canes I know of is Ambutek (the manufacturer,) which sells them for about $30 to $40.
