Hi,
Much appreciated, thanks! I ended up finding a sort of work-around by going to google Chrome. It seems to work a bit better and gives me a more recognizable version that does not have all of the annoyances of the version in IE.
However, I would be very interested to learn how to add a second profile in Outlook if you would not mind sharing how this is done.
Thanks again and have a wonderful rest of the week all!

Christine,
I don't have any easy answers for you but there are things you should check out. First, the Office 365 site is, in my opinion, not easy to use, I agree. However, some of the issue is that newer kinds of controls are used and you may have better luck in some cases turning the virtual cursor off by pressing INSERT Z. Then you would move between controls with the TAB key and check controls with the arrow keys. Some lists and such will act more like other software than web pages. If I remember, for example, when you are looking at your in-box, you can arrow through the list and pressing the "DEL" key deletes messages similar to what happens in Outlook. It could be that if you experiment that you may figure out enough to do what you have to do.
However, if that doesn't work, it is possible that you can access your work Office 365 mail using Outlook at home. I understand that you don't want to mix up your mail at home with work mail, but it is pretty easy to set up a new Outlook profile that would keep your work email completely separate.
When you start Outlook, you will then be asked which profile you want to use. To make this work, though, you probably are best off having at least Outlook 2010 at home. If you don't, there are ways to do this with Outlook 2007, but it involves extra steps.
If you have an older version of Office, older than 2010, and you want to upgrade, your work license may allow you to install the Office 2013 software at home through your work license. Where I work, our Office 365 license allows me to install it on up to five machines. This can vary with the license, though, and it may also depend upon whether you can access your Outlook server from home. My understanding is that usually you can because Outlook servers are most likely maintained by Microsoft for your employer rather than being maintained by your employer directly. Therefore they are probably not behind your employer's firewall. It is possible that a Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection is required, though, which involves additional software, but your employer could tell you if that is the case.
To figure what of all this would work best for you, you may need to talk to your Information Technology people at work. If necessary, I can be more specific about what I had to do, but it is likely you are not the only one who would like to access their mail on other than the website, if, indeed you want to go that route.
Finally, JAWS 17 has the ability to connect settings with specific web pages. This opens up the potential for scripts that handle specific websites, and it would stand to reason that there could be scripts available for the Office 365 site at some point that might make it easier. JAWS is not my primary screen reader, though, so this is speculation on my part.
Others here may have better information on this.
Best regards,
Steve Jacobson

Hi All,
I am trying to make my work email accessible from home where I check it only on the internet as I check a different account through my MS outlook and do not want to check both that way for various reasons.
We are in the process of switching to Microsoft 365 at work and it is giving me the non-accessible site without any ability to easily change it to an accessible version. Can anyone please help!!!! I would be extremely grateful!
I am using:
Windows 7 (latest edition)
Latest version of IE
JAWS 16 (yes 16) latest version
If you need more technical specs just let me know.
Have a wonderful day all!
Chris
