Hi,
If I am understanding what you want to do, all you need to do is the following:
1) Find the original program that you want to make a shortcut for.
2) When it is highlighted press the applications key on your keyboard (this will essentially do a right click with the mouse).
3) Arrow until you get to send to.
4) Choose shortcut (it will probably say something like desktop as shortcut).
5) Find the shortcut (it will either be in the same folder as the program or on the desktop).
*At this point you can rename and move the shortcut if you like without impacting how it acts with the program.
Hope that helps.
Happy weekend all!

Subject: [Blindtlk] Shortcuts
Hi, I accidentally deleted the shortcut to a program. How can I create a new shortcut for the same program? I can't find a way to open the program except opening it through a file. How can I fix this? I am using windows 7 and JAWS 16.
