Nope, because the person couldn't make it go away either.  My laptop's screen is also a touch screen, which has come in handy at times, bud didn't work here.

I've never had a dropdown come up when viewing a video, but I'm guessing you may need sighted help to get rid of it. I hope that helped you out.
