On my phone FB and Messenger are 2 separate apps, but on the computer and on
my braille device they are not.  On my U2 braille device I can either access
Facebook via the browser, or use the built-in app on the unit.

You mean you actually have to install Messenger separately?  I don't recall
having to do that, unless I'm unaware of something.  I just click onto
Messages and go down to new message and select the friend/friends I want to
send the message to.  Is that not the way to do it?

facebook really needs to give people the opportunity to install facebook
messenger as soon as they try to read their first message and not mark
that message read.  Why facebook split itself into two apps is beyond
me.  There is a facebook accessibility group on facebook it's possible
to join or @fbaccess on twitter.  A better social networking application
is vorail since vorail does stuff by voice and not photos thank you very
much.
