You are talking about the MOFI Juice Pack.  There may be others but that is 
the one I use with my IPhone.  It adds several hours to the battery life 
each day.

I'll bet I can get a good recommendation from you.

I've heard about some cool battery cases folks use for their iPhones.  It is
my understanding that these cases not only protect the phone but also have
some kind of charging unit which acts as a battery while charging your
normal iPhone battery.

I'd like something like that for my phone.  Does anyone use something like
this, and if so, what do you recommend?

I appreciate the info.
