[Blindtlk] Any blind property appraisers out there?

Thank you for your comments.  This is my feeling also, but I had to ask.  I
almost made the mistake once of assuming there was no way a blind person
could be a cosmetologist.  Fortunately, I didn't listen to myself, sought
others, and found 3 blind cosmetologists, so I never like to assume.  That
was a good life lesson for me.

I would think this to be a very unrealistic type of employment for a blind
person.  I realize that we can do almost anything but, let's face it, we are
blind and some jobs just rely on the ability to see.  I think we must teach
our young people to go for their dreams but at the same time to be realistic
and not try for things that are not possible.  If this person has a lot of
usable sight, in other words, not really blind, then maybe but, not for a
total or very low partial.  It is just my o pinion but as my experience of
working as an advocate for the blind and disabled I find it better to be
completely honest with my clients and not let them go down unrealistic paths
to destruction and disappointment.

We have a client who is interested in exploring this avenue for employment. 
Although we have had a blind realtor in town for several years, I know of no
property appraisers, so would love to hear from anyone with any experience.
