Dear All,
For the past few months, the National Association of Guide
Dog Users, a strong & proud division of the National Federation of the
blind, has been planning an incredible event for the first day of
convention, officially referred to as Seminar Day. A special word of thanks
to our newest member of the NAGDU board of directors, Raul Gallegos, who
chairs the Seminar Committee, Stacy Hardy, Merry Schoch, Vice President
Michael Hingson, and board member Aleeha Dudley who worked very hard to
create this outstanding seminar. Our NAGDU seminar is a series of practical,
interactive workshops for guide dog users and those interested in guide dog
users' issues. We have arranged for some of the most influential,
experienced, knowledgeable experts in the fields of orientation & mobility,
animal health, advocacy, and guide dog training to share their expertise
with us. This free seminar will be held on Monday, July 10, 2017 from 2:00 -
10:00 p.m. in conjunction with the annual convention of the National
Federation of the Blind at the beautiful Rosen Shingle Creek Resort in
Orlando, Florida. We are certain you will agree that our unparalleled
schedule of workshops and facilitators is second to none. Please take a look
at the following agenda and plan on joining the leader in service animal
policy and advocacy for this extraordinary event! If you would like to be
included in future updates and announcements about this seminar, please send

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise
expectations because low expectations create barriers between blind people
and our dreams. You can live the life you want! Blindness is not what holds
you back.
