[Blindtlk] Sunday school courses

Here Sunday School usually means the hour before, after or in between church 
services that is typically for children to learn Bible stories with their 
peers.
I'm going to assume it's pretty much the same in your country.  If not, 
ignore the rest of this.

When I was a kid the Sunday School teachers were any willing person or 
persons that were considered adults and the Pastor had some belief they 
could manage the class.  There was no training provided.  Some of the Sunday 
School teachers were my friends parents and they were really clueless.  A 
lot of the time the Sunday School teachers were truly on their own and could 
present pretty much whatever they wanted.  Later I do remember cartoon 
handout things with some sort of message.  Mostly the teachers brought juice 
and donuts in the hopes that it would keep us quiet long enough for her to 
say whatever it is she wanted to say.

Maybe that was just my church and maybe it's all changed in more recent 
years.   Or maybe my group was really awful and we scared off the better 
teachers?

Anyway if you can get the materials ahead of time, you can get them into 
Braille or a digital form so you can use them in the class.  If the kids are 
rowdy, donuts do help! LOL

Wondering if anyone here had opportunities to take accessible courses
to enable them to teach kids Sunday school and how it all went for
them? in my country this is not available to blind or sighted people.
