Okay, I see that you are using an hour at a time.

It would help to know the age range and what you are going to be teaching.
If you are doing group work, are you and the employee taking a group, or are
you taking one, the employee taking the other, and rotating?  Will you be
giving assignments and grading, or will you be giving any quizzes?

Give us a little more info if you can.

I'll be teaching class for an hour a week for my job throughout the
semester.  Are their any techniques you teachers use to help maintain
discipline, and to engage the students?  Some of the work will be group
work, and other work will be just class instruction.  I'll be teaming with
another employee.

The classes range from 5 to 30.
