[Blindtlk] BARD Issue

Hi,

Yes, mine used to go to a download folder I had in my Documents section, but now I have to press the Windows key and type in downloads. When that comes up, I press enter and there is the section. Now from there I have to cut or copy and paste it into my Down, loads folder in my Documents section. This is on my Windows 7 computer. Are you using the original BARD or BARD Express. I was using the original version. Haven't tried the Express version yet.

Hope to see you again at the convention in Florida, Mark. I met you last year in the Florida hospitality room. I am a Florida Statewide Chapter member.

Annely

Years ago with older versions of windows and
Internet Explorer, you could pick where you wanted to
download to. You can still do this with Google Chrome. If
you are in Windows 7 or above, any downloads should go
straight to your download folder by default. There may be a
way to change the folder, but I do not know how in these
 later versions of Windows.

 > Hi fellow Federationists.  We
are getting close to National Convention time, and I have a
question not related to the convention.  I am an avid
user of BARD and have come up against a challenge.  I
don't remember how I did this years ago, but managed to get
my downloads to automatically go to my book folder, which I
entitled Book Folder on my desktop.  What an original
title, right?  Anyway, I recently had my computer
repaired and now when I download books, the titles end up
who knows where on the hard drive.  I don't seem to see
a choice of folders.  I hit enter at the "Save As"
prompt and tab a couple of times and get a prompt called
"Hide Folders" but there seems to be no choice of
folders.  Is it possible I have too many books in my
book folder?  If not, I'd like to know how I can make
sure titles go back into my book folder.  Thank you in
advance and see you at Convention.
