Why don't you get a bicycle built for two or also called tandem bike. A sighted person could steer but you would still get exercise with pedaling. I know several who enjoy soon this with a friend. Even sighted people enjoy these and you often find them for rent in tourist areas. A 26 inch adult tandem bike can be purchases online at Walmart with free shipping.
