Hi,

I did have the first version of Pen Friend. I sold it because I had trouble
feeling the buttons.

Sandra,

If you don't want the ongoing expense of a smart phone, you might want to
consider an IPod Touch to use with KNFB Reader.

Here is another suggestion for labeling: the PenFriend. But if you are
having trouble feeling buttons, this might not be the best fit either.

Here is our catalog description.

PENFRIEND VOICE LABELING SYSTEM:
A versatile tool for labeling and organizing various household items, this
pen-shaped device, approximately six inches long and one inch in diameter,
records voice labels of varying lengths and associates them with stick-on
labels. The unit has four gigabytes of internal memory, which allows for up
to 250 hours of recording time. Features include volume control, an external
speaker, and a headphone jack. Labels can be re-recorded and additional
label packages are available for purchase. Includes 127 stick-on labels of
assorted sizes, three magnetic labels, and a neck lanyard). Audio
instructions are embedded in the packaging and can be read with the
PenFriend. Uses two AAA batteries (included). AIG69P $150.00

Please contact me off list, if you have any questions.

Cordially,

Stickers are helpful along with puffy paint which dries after two days you
can use the puffy paint as different shapes on each item
