[Blindtlk] Information about dreamers needed

What brought your family here in 1965? By the way, this is not a debate. The
president of the National Federation of the Blind has written asking for
this sort of information. People who came here illegally came here to escape
oppression and to find ways to make money, and countless other reasons. They
felt pressured and as if they didn't have choices. There are a few who came
here escaping being caught for crimes, but mostly not, I think. The young
people, though, mostly had no say as to what was happening to them. So
should they be deported to countries they don't know? I suspect this isn't
the place to raise those questions, but the questions are well worth your
consideration.

Hmm. Really? Why didn't they enter the country legally? I'm asking
because I entered the country legally back in 1965 along with my
family. I would think I should have more rights than these people who
didn't bother to take the necessary and legal steps to enter the
country legally... Sounds like they just came in to be a burden on the
tax payers and anyone who has ever worked legally is aware of that tax
bite on their income. If this was a debate I'm starting to see which
side I would fall into on this one
Something about this just doesn't make sense so I'm obviously missing
some important facts on this subject.
