My husband and I were at the dinner table the other night in Sedro Woolley where we live now and reminiscing about Publix.

Do they still sell that banana pudding with the vanilla wafer crumbs mixed in?

I also remember their Publix mix, which was a mixture of chopped meats the consistency of tuna salad, and with onions and celery bits mixed in.

I liked Publix when I lived in Florida.  Usually I went into the store with 
someone but when I didn't, staff were always willing to help.

Hi all hope things are going well. I agree that this is an unacceptable 
practice. Over the Summer, we had some family friends that were coming to 
visit us from Trinidad and Tobago. On the day of their arrival, I woke up 
early and went to the grocery store with my Dad. He dropped me off at the 
door, and I walked to the Customer Service desk. Publix employees who work 
in their Customer Service department are trained to assist their visually 
impaired customers. I was saddened to read about the experierence that this 
man had at Ross.
