Wow, you are right.  I remember a long time ago hearing from Jim Gashell
how many jobs he had to apply for before actually landing one, and he said
we always have to work harder at landing a job.

When I was searching for jobs, I sent 380 letters out in a year and got
one interview and no jobs.  Reason for not getting any job?  Simple, I
did my training at Lions International Center for the blind in Little
Rock and the only people corporates where I returned to in Pennsylvania
was that now defunct Circle Program at University of Pennsylvania.  Had
I remained in Arkansas rather than returning to Pennsylvania, the
Certificate of Completion from A.E.B. probably would have got me a job
working for the State Of Arkansas.  I eventually got full-time permanent
employment with Department Of Defense and retired from that in 2013.
