Vickie,
It might be good to ask this question on the NFB's Diabetes Talk email list.

Would your brother be able to make use of a service like Be My Eyes or AIRA to get assistance with entering the code?
Cordially,
Ellen

Subject: [BlindTlk] Accessible Home Dialysis machines
Wondering if anyone can help my brother. Tony is blind, totally, and he says his home dialysis machine is pretty accessible. However, there is one problem. When you first turn the machine on it requires an access number. He says there’s a flat screen display of numbers, but they don’t talk when pressed, so he has to rely on his sighted partner to apply the numbers and the machine starts. It sounds like he can operate the machine properly once the pass code is input. He’s afraid that if he brailles the number pad it will still input the wrong numbers inadvertently. So, is there anyone on this list who does home kidney dialysis? Thanks for any suggestions.
