SSI is supplemental security income.  The disability social security 
insurance is called SSDI.  Straight social security, as far as I know, is 
just social security.  Pam.

Reading this again, I’m wondering when they say SSI are they referring to 
the Social Security disability income or are they talking about straight 
Social Security income?
