It was in braille long before that, as I remember our home ec class having
one, and I graduated in 1971.

I don't know about a braille version, but "Cooking Without Looking" is on
BARD in audio format in two different recordings. The older one was done
during the late 1970s while a print copy was not available. John Jackson
narrated the book from a braille copy, and another braille reader monitored
or reviewed it. About 15 years later a print copy was located, and it was
read by one of our regular narrators, perhaps not at NLS.
