[BlindTlk] dominos

The ones in school were plastic with dots, and a high divider in the middle.
They were regular-sized. But the first dominoes I ever saw made for the
blind in about 1958 came in a giant sack, and they were huge things made of
wood with huge wooden holes. My mother got them for a friend of mine. I
think they came from the Lions Club, like my plastic checker board. My
mother said they could be used as building blocks! That's the only time I
ever saw dominoes that big. I did, also, see the wooden locking dominoes
with the metal dots on them. They were in the playroom of the Institute.
The plastic ones I mentioned were in a classroom. Pam.

Howe press had wooden dominos with metal raised dots in them and those
could interlock. Two sets were available one that went to 6 dots and
the other that went to 12 dots.
