The only game of dominos I learned was with everyone playing getting seven
dominos to start and one domino being put on the table as a starter.
The rest of the dominos were in the bone pile.
The player that played first if they had a domino with the same number of
dots or a blank on it as one of the ends of the starter domino could lock
their domino into the starter domino with the two matching ends with the
same number facing each other across the join. The next player could join
similarly to either end. The object of the game was to get to zero dominos
first and win. If you didn't have a number on any of your dominos that
could connect then you had to pass on to the next player and take a domino
from the bone pile. There was one instance in which a domino could be
connected cross-wise to the end of the line of dominos but I forget the
details on that one. From what I remember that braille book has about 12
different dominos games in it to play.
