[BlindTlk] OK NFBW reader problems

Hello Erika,

I have no problem using KNFB Reader on my iPhone 8 with the latest 13.6 iOS update.

The OCR app I use the most is Voice Dream Scanner, which I really love. You can rewind or fast forward, while the text is being read.

Cordially,

Ellen

Subject: Re: [BlindTlk] OK NFBW reader problems

It is good to know that it works just fine for android folks. I am also happy to hear that the braille note plus works just fine for this app. I am using the most current iPhone SE with current software. Another words, my phones totally updated. I can’t even get into it as the screen comes up looking like it’s going to open and then it fails to open. So I guess it crashes right away.. I tried to shut it down and do a hard reboot which didn’t fix anything. I have the same problem with the Blind Square app too.

Should I be calling Apple about this? Or should I try to report things to NFB for the reader and the company who produced Blind Square? I do have updates set to automatic so either the latest isn’t the greatest or something.

Thanks for your help!

Pushing the back button if there is one either physically or virtually should take you to where you can take a picture and such. At least with my Braille Note it does. Maybe I would close the app via the recent apps list (at least that's what it's called on my Braille Note's Android system) and then open it again.

What the Hecks going on? Is anyone else experiencing this? I’m not the most experienced user but I’ve never had a problem opening the app before. This has been going on for months and I’m really tired of Not having this reading option any longer.
