Dear friends,

    Please accept my sincere apology if this post is not appropriate for
this list!

    I work for an organization in Duluth Minnesota called the Lighthouse
Center for Vision Loss.  In addition to our other services of instruction in
computer technology, mobility, independent living, etc., we have offered
local support groups for those who have vision loss and their significant
other (whether that person has vision loss or not).  During the lock down
because of the recent health issues, we have redesigned our support groups
to be conducted via the Internet and telephone.  We are now also opening the
group up to all people regardless of their physical location!  This is the
reason why I am writing this invitation!

    I would like to warmly invite anyone on this list to come and check out
our support group.  For those who are professionals and feel that our groups
might be of value to any of your clients, please inform them of the group!
We meet each Tuesday beginning at 1:00P.M., and each meeting lasts one hour.
During our meetings we have guest speakers, recorded presentations, as well
as conversation among group participants concerning a wide range of topics,
focusing on the needs of the visually impaired.  There is of course no
charge for these meetings, and folks are not required to attend each week's
meeting!  This simply offers folks a chance to connect with others, while
receiving information concerning issues that involve the visually impaired.

    While folks can certainly participate via the Internet, many people
prefer to simply participate via their telephone!  I want to sincerely thank
you for allowing me to offer this invitation!
