[BlindTlk] Amazon Kindle books

I use the kindle for PC app. Jaws reads the books fine, though every once in a while I get one that it can't read due to some restriction on the book. But 99 percent work with jaws.

I use the Android platform, but love Kindle on the phone the best.

If you have an older version of Kindle on your PC, plus the Codex app, you can change those books into braille to read on a notetaker.  I've done several for my hubby this way.

Therefore, the Kindle I have on my PC is version 1.17.044170, and that program is not allowed to automatically update.  However, it does not read with Jaws.

Good morning,

I need some advice on the best and most effective way of reading Amazon Kindle books.  I need to read a particular book that is in Kindle.  I don't know if it's best to try on the computer with JAWS or on the iPhone.  If so, what programs or apps work best?  I've not tried it with JAWS, and the Kindle app reads some of the book, but I am having some issues navigating.

It's my first day though.

Any good recommendations are appreciated.
