[BlindTlk] I agree with brian

I hate to say it, but I agree with both of these gentlemen. I tried to
gently mention something the other day that this topic was getting old with
a lot of repiticious messages, but it seemed to fall on deaf ears.

A moderator may not be a bad idea.

I agree with Brian. This list has become totally absurd. Message after
message after message from the same people, repeating, repeating, repeating.
Is there a moderator?

Yes, and I've read about blind people winning debates that way, because they
can look directly at the judges instead of at their notes.

When doing presentations a trick I use is to write my outline down on index
cards in braille.
Then as I do the presentation I read to myself what's on each of those index
cards and have the presentation cover those points. When I did that in
Public Speaking Class I got extra points for holding my head up since unlike
the rest of the class, I didn't need to look down at my notes.

could give a presentation without the braille note taker or any other
display needing to be connected to the Internet or even power. Puts us one
step ahead of those ladies. :-) But you have to be proficient. Otherwise
you?re going to get stressed out.

to the point where he can?t feel the dots. Right now he?s just impatient and
doesn?t want to practice. I told him that if he studied as hard on the
Braille as he wants me to so that I can pass my ham radio license we both be

we get our Internet connection fixed studying. Even considering joining
