[BlindTlk] Sad news from my heart and soul

Hi, NFB talk family.
I have known many of you for a long time (I’m not saying, hahaha) and some I have just recently “met” over this list.

Recently, I went in for a biopsy of a very large lymph node. It came back with my dr. informing me that I have high-grade b-cell lymphoma.

By the time they found it (On a “meow” scan), it had spread throughout my body and into my bloodstream. My heart and kidneys are not strong enough to handle the onslaught of chemo. So I have opted for palliative care and/or hospice.

I am expected to be around raising a ruckus for several months.

So now you have heard it from the horse’s mouth. Wait a minute! I’m not a horse. Well, from the cat’s mouth PURRhaps.

I have appreciated the info we have exchanged with each other in a generally courteous manner, which educates (and sometimes entertains) all of us.
