Yes, I have the Smart Things app on my phone, a Samsung Galaxy S9 and an
S20, and that app works very well to connect things in your home.  I would
take your phone and that app to the store where you are looking so you can
have an idea how the interaction will go.

Our daughter has a Samsung dryer and loves it.

Frankly, I'm still the low tech that would just get one and use labels.
That's what we're doing right now with our newer Whirlpool appliances.
