Thank you for the information, Ericka! Please forgive my slow response. At his point she would need something free. Once the pandemic becomes less of a crisis she should have an in-home trainer available. I am trying to encourage her to attest familiarize herself with JAWS. She was a computer user before she lost her vision so she has that going for her.

Are you looking for something free or are you looking for something like a paid service. It does matter. Mystic access has a cost but they do it by phone from what I understand. I know here in Wisconsin we have a couple of places and I do know that the Wisconsin Council of the blind tech trainer does do it over the phone. I think you have to be a state resident but I’m not sure. This isn’t free either but probably cheaper. Looking forward to seeing how others respond. I know the pickle your friend is in! I’m thankful for the council.
