The Internet Archive<http://www.archive.org/> is an amazing resource containing millions of public domain files, including text, music, radio and movies. The site is a bit tricky to navigate but is well worth it as it contains a treasure trove of materials, many of which you probably won't be able to locate from other sources. It is likely that all Gutenberg and Librivox books are on this site but that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Another resource archive.org is available on browsers which brings in librevox.org and adds a little bit to guttenberg project.
