Jody, I respectfully disagree. This is a very, very serious matter. It has created pain for many, many people. We couldn’t possibly just bounce merrily along as if nothing has happened. We were probably already doing this, and that might have justified the painful outcry that occurred. People felt that the leaders didn’t care. If that were to continue, there would also be a festering of wounds. I think we must look with compassion on all who are in the Federation, and do what we can/must do to help people heal. I think we also need to figure out why these things are happening in our organization. If we don’t, the work we usually do will be eroded and eventually die. We are all in this together and stronger together.
