Hello Cindy,

I agree the subject is extremely serious but has become the focus  of so much lately it seems to be an organization for survivors and that an organization for blind people! I am not discounting the experiences of people who have been victims! That is not my point. But the forefront of his organization is blindness and that has been slipping out of the focus for so many people.  I certainly am not discounting or minimizing those experiences of people that have suffered from sexual harassment or assault! No way! It just has become the forefront of everything we seem to talk about lately!

I think we also need to figure out why these things are happening in our organization. If we don’t, the work we usually do will be eroded and eventually die. We are all in this together and stronger together.
