It seems to me that the booklet was called something like "The encounter." I think it was originally created in Nebraska.

	Some time ago, I remember the NFB had a booklet entitled something like, "What to Do when You Meet a Blind Person". I seem to recall the story line was a man entered a book store to find information about how to help a blind person. The book store owner was blind. The customer asked his question and the blind replied, "Was he carrying a piano?" I remember that part because it made me chuckle. Maybe Gary knows the booklet I'm referencing.

Madison, this is an awesome idea! I, too, struggle with self-advocacy and assertiveness.

I think sighted people need to get that we're just as human and normal as them, and we just use different techniques for getting the same things done. I think you can't educate sighted people enough, and the best way to do that is through your actions.
