Yeah, Chris and I stayed with his parents for a month while we were selling our house, as I had gotten a job in the area where they lived. Once the house sold, we moved into a cute little apartment until we bought another house a year later.

Wise words Judy. It does happen to sighted people two. In my family situation my sister, husband and their son who was in kindergarten moved from California to Wisconsin when they no longer could really afford to live out there and did not like the school district their son was in. They lived with my parents staying in One bedroom until they could find work and housing. It was not two or three months to find housing in our small town of roughly 10,000 people. They were lucky enough that they could work from my parents house with the job they had in California as it was production work. They worked in the less glamorous part of the film industry you see. They finally found a little duplex which still was not enough space for them but they had work and my nephew got to go to the same grade school my sisters and I went to. I think they live there a year before they moved to the duplex. Then they lived there for years and years and years until just the summer. My nephew turned 14 and their actual house. They move their August of last year. Never think that sighted people don’t struggle. Sometimes it’s the same struggle, sometimes it’s different but it’s not all easy just because they can drive and read print. And as were talking about inclusion in the NFB Madison those who aren’t white have very similar struggles to ours.
