that is such a tragic situation. It can so easily happen inf we don't 
learn to stand up for ourselves and often that means making hard and 
painful decisions. also what we think we want when first starting out, 
isn't necessarily what we want. I thought that I really wanted to teach, 
but I found out that I wanted much more. ;l I wanted a home and family. 
I had to make it clear to people around me that they had no say in our 
decisions to become parents. It was painful but necessary.

It means that we understand that there are things we can't do now but that we might be able to learn to do.
