[BlindTlk] aph.org is a mess!

I almost never use braille paper anymore, either. It's easier to write on
regular paper, especially if you are using a slate. I remember doing all
day tests in the Institute on a board slate on that horrible extra-thick
paper, and messing up my hands. Pam.

I honestly haven't used braille paper for personal use, probably since
college. I took all my notes in a spiral notebook purchased at the book
store, and we kept our household books that way until notetakers and the
internet. I use the perkins, when I need it, on regular printer paper.

Think they call it "Braille Paper" on purpose, so they can charge more, like
it is something special. Sure a lot of people don't even realize that they
could get it at a regular store.

regular store. It's just a little thicker than regular paper. My father
would bring home paper for me from the print shop where he worked. Someone
who I worked with had a husband who had his own printing business. He would
give me paper too.
