You used to, but materials seem to be perfected now, although it's never amiss to check for wrinkles, but a steamer can take care of most.

My mother used to iron wash-and-wear stuff. She said you still had to iron it. I never did. Pam.

I remember that, too, in fact, my job as a middle-schooler on up through high school was the ironing.
I also ironed my dad's undershirts, but so many more things were cotton than they are now, on top of that, I just quit buying cotton.
I was always ironing sheets, pillow cases, undershirts, handkerchiefs.
Even with kids, we never had the ironing like that, as so many of the items were wash and wear.
I still have a suit that needs ironing, and I will pull it out if a shirt of Hubby's has wrinkles, but not mostly using it now.

I put the sheets on my bed when I am folding them. Don't worry much about fitted sheets, they are just going in a drawer, so really doesn't matter. I remember when I was little, my mother would iron sheets.
